At Undiscovered Africa, we design journeys that go deeper - crafted around extraordinary experiences that reveal the heart of Africa.
From walking safaris in the Kruger to star-sleepouts in Namibia and mokoro rides through the Okavango, our itineraries are personal, seamless, and full of soul. We believe travel should be more than a highlight reel - it should change how you see the world.
Born in South Africa and raised in the travel world, Danielle has spent over 17 years exploring and sharing Africa’s wildest corners. Her passion? Creating safaris that blend authenticity with discovery where every moment feels effortless, intimate, and uniquely yours.

“For me, travel is about connection - with nature, with people, and with stories that stay with you.”
- Danielle Aldren, Founder
Because Africa isn’t just seen; it’s felt in every moment and place, inviting you into something truly unforgettable.
Our safaris go beyond luxury; they’re immersive and responsible, drawing you deeper into Africa’s soul with every step.

Every journey is rooted in connection; shaped by the land and its people, inviting you to experience Africa’s wild beauty.
Every journey begins with you. Your story, your style, your sense of adventure. We listen first, then curate experiences that are truly yours: private lodges, wild places, and rare encounters that leave you forever connected to Africa.

We recommend booking 9–12 months in advance, especially for peak seasons (June–September and December holidays). For last-minute travellers, we can often still create amazing journeys, but early booking ensures the best lodges and routes.
